Questions about an official Troup County court docket or case record belong with the court that maintains it. This private reference cannot retrieve files or act for a clerk. Superior and State matters usually go to the combined clerk, while Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and municipal matters have separate custodians.

This Is Not a Court or Government Office. This private reference cannot retrieve dockets, alter settings, seal or remove cases, certify documents, or provide legal advice. Contact the responsible Troup County or municipal court directly.

Need an Official Docket or Record?

Route each Troup County request according to the record needed:

  • A docket sheet: use the official docket search route or ask the court custodian
  • A court date or setting: check the court schedule, then confirm it with the clerk
  • Certified copies: order from the clerk of court, who is the keeper of the docket and the official record
  • A specific case: provide its court, party name, and exact case number
  • Court records and case files: use the court case records route or contact the clerk

For Superior and State Court records, contact Jackie W. Taylor, Clerk of Superior and State Courts, 100 Ridley Avenue, Suite 1600, LaGrange, GA 30240, 706-883-1740. The counter is open Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Magistrate, Probate, Juvenile, and city court files must be requested from their separate custodians.

The Georgia Open Records Act, O.C.G.A. ยงยง50-18-70 through 50-18-72, governs many county administrative records. The ordinary Open Records Act request process does not govern case files maintained by Superior, State, Probate, or Magistrate Courts. Direct those records to the appropriate court custodian under the governing court-access rules.
